These were both shot in Crow Agency, Montana with an Olympus OM-2n Using a Zuiko MC Autozoom f/4 35-70mm lens. The film is Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400.

I tested my Zorki 1-D and the Industar 22 ... but I forgot what film I was shooting. I developed with Rodinal (stand) ... it was HP5. Not the best combination, hehe.

Looks like a static discharge.
Definitely does when you look closely.
Call it serendipity! Could have happened anywhere else on the frame.

My last scan of the weekend - going travelling for work ....
Couple of daffodil pictures, not very sharp (due to constant brise), taken with Bronica ETRsi, handheld, on Kodak Ektar 100, plus one fence post. Interesting effect on the first one, taken against the tarmac of the road, created an interesting blue colour - tarmac is of course mid to dark grey. As comparison a shot against green grass. Fence post was just to fill the last frame, interesting texture, just a bit of darkening of the highlights.

Mine's a bit pedestrian this week, but I was a pedestrian while taking it, so I guess it's ok ;D Also a bit of a test, I shot Kodak Gold at 800, and instead of developing it normally or pushing a stop in C41, I threw it in with a roll of Gold I shot at 1600 (the speed I normally shoot Gold), and pushed it the stop-and-a-half I normally push Gold @1600. Came out perfectly well, so I have a new exposure and development scheme :)

Nice job on the flowers Klaus. My guess on the first shot is that the color shift is from the scanner. If it was set on some sort of 'auto color' setting, it went looking for the brightest set of pixels it could find. If those pixels happened to be oh, say pale yellow, the scanner would "correct" that to white and shift everything toward blue. Just a guess based on my own 'auto' setting experience.

I saw the colour, liked it and didn't bother play with the settings, so it was auto.

Hey Klaus, nice job with the flowers! I have two rolls of Ektar that need to be developed, I'll probably send them to the lab this week and see what comes out of it!
Here's a couple more from my weekly 8-mile ruck march at the local state park. Shot with Kodak Tri-X 400 at box speed and developed with Ilfosol 3 1:14 for 10 minutes... Or close to it.

I'm going to try a couple of rolls using the exposure bracket and set it at EV -1 and see if I can correct the highlight situation a little bit.

Great thread. Peter's photos of Westminster bridge are superb. I thought IrvB was taking the mickey by referring to Carlisle 'cos I've been there a fair few times and it don't look like that...! Then I realised it was Barbados....
Mine is a grab shot I spotted when I was having a sort through my hard drive. Taken in Cambridge a few years ago. Leica M6 with 50mm Summicron on Ilford XP2 Super. The dog's owner had just nipped into a shop, so no animal cruelty (the dog was only left for a couple of minutes)

New baby, the Voigtländer Vito C. It was made in Germany during the 80s by Balda, who also made the shell of the Minox 35.
Healthy 160 g with film, strap and batteries. Auto exposure 10 - 1/500, 2.8 - 16. Metering with 2 CDS-cells from 25 - 800 ASA, distance symbols and long exp. warning shown in viewfinder. Pros vs the Minox: better (bigger) viewfinder, finally a reliable shutter (yeah!), 2 simple LR44 batteries.
Portraied with Minolta X-370 and 2.8/24 Vivitar on Polypan F, deved in Caffenol-C-M (rs)

After Voigländer was owned by Rollei until 1982 and the insolveny of Rollei, Voigtländer was now owned by Plusfoto, not a producer but distributor. The lens is most probably not the great quasi apochomatic Color-scopar design but a Balda make. Voigtländer as a producer was dead. Balda sells the same camera with only minor design changes as Balda CA 35 with a 2.8/38 Baldanon lens which is supposed to be the same lens as in the Voigtländer. Nevertheless it seems to be a nice lens. First own results are about to come.

Weekend is over, so hopefully nobody blames us for some more ot.
The Minox 35 and Voigtländer Vito C or CS are different cameras, but designed by the same engineers who constructed the Minox 35 some years before and left the company to go to Balda . The "only" thing they have in common is a very similar casing, which was also made for Minox by Balda. So the shutter of the Vito C is a Balda construction. I don`t know the tech details. I had 5 broken Minox 35 in hands, not a single working, and the repair fix never worked for me to. The first Vito C now in my hands with signs of heavy use works perfect.
Remember there was a "real" Vito C about 20 years before these nice little plastic machines. I have a beautiful Vito CLR in full working condition with the legendary original Color-Scopar. Great lens - other story .... But the lens of the plastic Vito C is also quite nice, I will upload a sample this evening.
