My relationship with Diana is improving
« on: June 12, 2008, 10:06:29 PM »
My improvised carboard mask has been helping get slightly better film plane, although one mask broke and left a wonky paper shape across each negative frame. I used a rolleiflex adaptor set as a template and then taped it in. Quite pleased with the results from this roll of FP4 plus some PS toning/curve tweaks.

(they're my boys before anyone asks...)

Not to mention the additional frames you will get with the mask, eh? Wait, that is for the Holga you will yield the extra shots. Good for you. I am far too lazy for arts and crafts and settle for just taping off the inside instead. The wonkys are even more evident with the tape after a not so steady hand like mine. I am 45 you know. Good show. Especially with frame #2. That last frame is good too with the almost mirage type appearance there in the back....and the wee streakers.

I love the freedom in the third shot.
A photo to treasure for years.

Nice work, and hope to see more with the "improved" mask.

Keep going, Karl. These are lovely. I love the first one...something very British about it. Although there's none here that doesn't have something compelling about it. Wonderful shimmer.

I'm not picking a favourite - they're all just wonderful.

All fantastic but that third frame is truly magic. Can't wait to see more.

1 and 3 are particularly strong - I like the way your son looks like he's walking on the water.  all great.
