UK Hasselblad repair recommendations?
« on: April 14, 2015, 12:47:35 PM »
Hi

Can anybody recommend a UK-based camera repair company who could look at a non-functioning Zeiss Planar 2.8 80mm lens? The shutter fires, but doesn't synch with the camera body shutter. As the lens is old, it's not worth sending to a Hasselblad authorised dealer to repair. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Seconded; give Patrick a call.  Really good bunch in my experience and Kris (the repair guy) has done some great work for me in the past.  Hope they are able to help you.  Other repairers are, of course available  ;)  Link as follows:

PS - it probably is worth the cost of professional repair as 80mm f2.8 lenses aren't that plentiful as separate items.
