olympus pen ee3 question
« on: March 16, 2008, 01:33:50 PM »
i picked up an olympus pen ee3 half frame camera at the flea market today. i'm a little confused on how i should set up the camera. should i set it up by asa or by f-stop? since they are on the same ring they can't be set independantly. i know it must be dead simple and obvious..or is it that it should be set according to asa unless in a low light situation which would require a different f-stop?

Just check the instructions... probably similar to the ones for the ee2

thanks, unfortunately, that page keeps asking me for a password. i downloaded a pdf of the ees2 and it's a different camera, i mean the asa and f-stops are different rings. whereas on the ee3 it's just a single ring. i haven't had much luck googling for the manual either, so was hoping some here would know.

well, scratch that. just found the answer.  it's like i suspected it might be. for normal use it's set by asa but in low light situation it's set by f-stop.
