messing with a new toy
« on: May 06, 2007, 11:36:16 PM »
I bought myself a new toy - a minus 10 stop ND filter from B&W.  It#s great fun - here are a few experiments with a really choppy sea and windy sky ......

first shot is great... nice minimalist, abstract quality.

What time does the tide come in? ;) And where can I get a plus 10 stop ND filter please?  ???

Nice snaps Leon. a good way of getting around poor weather conditions.

I have fond memories of a 1952 holiday at Seasalter, 6 months before the '53 storm washed all the holiday homes away. What's that got to do with your snap? Nothing absolutely nothing, just rambling again. Nurse!

Damn, if your messing doesn't make the cut. Something special this way comes for sure I suspect.

These are great Leon I have been meaning to get myself one for a while I think that they do a -13 stop one as well. Of the trio I think the top one is my fave but hey that's splitting hairs a tad!

-10 and -13 stops?!  :o

So... they make one out of brick and the other from concrete?!

Yes, numero uno for me. :)
It has the cleanest lines of the set.

I agree, #1 is beautiful, like some sort of submerged woodhenge.

Don't ever stop 'messing around'.

lovely. Number 2 for me though, I prefer the composition and break up of the horizon

Nicely done Leon.

I wasn't aware of a 10 stop ND  :o . Normally I stack a red and 4stop ND together but it'd be better if there was just one filter.

The first one is particularly gorgeous.  Simple and serene.

Ten stops?  Think of the possibilities.  Time to go on a hunt.
