What do people feel like? I think doing something for fall would be neat. Ive liked colored themes.

We could choose a specific color to focus on, maybe, so those who might not have a lot of fall color to shoot where they live can still participate. Is there anyone here in the southern hemisphere where it's spring now?

Also, the concrete jungle doesn't tend to turn color, despite the "jungle" part of the name

Just try and make it something that will get people to rack their brain a bit. Too easy is never very interesting.

Also indofunk thats half the fun of it, say if we picked "orange" theres a multitude of orange things or things you could do in the city, remember Toronto is baby New York. At least that's what people like to think around here...

At college I did that by putting a black cloth over a powerful speaker and tried to move objects with sound shooting with studio lighting

Last fall was "Change" so there goes one of my ideas. Repeating a theme is one thing; repeating it the very next year isn't particularly creative, though

So I was thinking of something like "Tricks or Treats" since it is Hallowe'en this month, but that doesn't give us much time to prepare something.

Then I thought of next month and here in the US we celebrate Thanksgiving, but that doesn't include the non-Americans. However, taken as a theme that is NOT centered around the holiday, it might be interesting. Giving thanks, after all, is universal, regardless of whether or not a specific holiday is set aside for that purpose.

So maybe something like "Being thankful" or "Giving thanks" could be a collaboration. There could be a lot of different interpretations as well as different subjects, since we'll be thankful for different things.

Thoughts?

The site I'm working on is not allowed to start until 7.30 because of complaints, they don't want a new crematorium there is a scheme in the UK called Considerate Contractors don't they have that in Germany ?

Great idea, people. Sorry for not jumping on this earlier. I've been meaning to suggest a collaboration for the last few weeks, but never got it together to visit the forum and get the process kicked off. Will rectify that forthwith. I have a theme in mind too.

We're obviously still on for the "Best Of...." collab in December, so I'm really keen to get another in before then. Check back here later today and we should have news of one.

For those of you who haven't gotten involved in a collaboration before; please join in this time. It's a lot of fun and you don't need to be too precious about what you submit. Joining in is what it's all about.
