Water on the Brain
« on: December 28, 2008, 04:58:45 AM »
So Russell from Shots Magazine is calling for new work with the theme, Water. Well, with the winter season, one has to think outside of the icebox...so to speak. I can't seem to do that even. Life is a drag. A homicide right around the corner from me a few days ago....friends wigging out on me...you name it, it's happened. So the juices aren't flowing as should. In more ways than one. But I managed to bring the Spectra out tonight and funk around with some lame ideas for the theme. Just some examples here to show you were my head is...not. I'd be stoked if the one made the cover. Haha. Wishful thinking. I do have one that looks hopeful other than these...

Thanks for looking....

My pick is the first one. A lil scary but cool.

Goop all the way for me, Becky. 3 and 4 are lovely.

Becky, I love them all, I really do. I really need some advice on the goop ones as I have never had  any success with the goop side of my instant projects! Any help would be very welcome.

Thanks folks. I tried to do the tub with water cliche bit in that first frame....but rather it looks like I'm laying in some coffin. Probably intentional. I think the second one is almost convincing. I said almost.

Actually, eyes open would have been more freakish.
