had friends visiting this last weekend so took the opportunity to continue my series of handheld pinhole shots of me and friends. also took out the minolta hi-matic 11. i like that camera but it tends to overexpose in bright sunlight.

I really like the way the brim of the hat is sharpish against the blur of the surrounding areas and the pose of the model. This suggest to me of her coyly swing her body side to side whilst being chastised.  The picture wouldn't be half as good if it were sharper.

Another good weekend all round.

Thanks.  That's what's so much fun about the Gakkenflex -- you never know exactly what you're going to get.  The field of focus is so small to begin with, then you're not sure what will be in focus because the DOF is so shallow (this is with the aperture ring removed).  Lots of serendipity with the Gakkenflex.
