Weekend 31st May - 2nd June 2024
« on: May 31, 2024, 08:49:08 AM »
Had a walk along the quayside in the small town where I live early on Sunday morning, shooting up the last roll of Seagull 400. This weekend I'm headed north for a two month vacation, so I will not be posting any shots before August.  8)

Zenit-B / Yashinon 2.0/5cm / Seagull 400 @200 ISO in HC-110

yay, the weekend and a great start by Kai San!
Love the boats and wish I lived nearer the water as it's so soothing and just fun to be a round.
Mine is a quick snap with a Reto Wide and slim with some 100 speed Arista from a road trip intersection last weekend.
I'm a sucker for signage.

Thanks Becky! It looks like the one way sign in your shot points into a dead end!  ;)

Happy Weekend!
Love that last shot of the boat, Kai! It looks very classic somehow.
Becky, these are a lot of intimidating signs.
I caught some cyclists at a local castle. Agfa Super Isolette and Delta 100 developed in Adox XT-3.

Repaired a belOMO Etyud a couple weeks ago. First test roll.

Also tried Rollei RPX 100 for the first time. I need to go back and print these with a little better contrast control.

I've been exploring 35mm pinholes with a body cap pinhole on a Fed 4 body. These are with Kodak Vision 3 50D film developed in home-made ECN2 chemicals.

Sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks, I was marooned on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.  We had very poor communication with the outside world.  I started a photo essay about my trip https://filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=10657.new#new.  If you don't like pictures of birds you may want to avoid it.

Olympus Stylus 120 with expired Kodak Gold 200.

Somehow, that reminds me of a girl I know who's husband is a marine biologist. He was stuck for a few years on the Falkland islands...
I've never seen a anybody so happy to be leaving for Iceland!

Some of the people I was there with were staying for 6 months.  There’s no habitable buildings there, it’s all camping.  They had to bring all their drinking water and food to last that long.  I met a woman on the trip back that had just been picked up after a year there.  It takes some dedication to do that.
