Weekend February 3 to 5, 2023
« on: February 03, 2023, 05:44:19 PM »
My neighbors garden.  Crown Graphic 34 with a Carl Zeiss Jena Apo-Tessar 30cm, f/9 using one of my home made lens boards with an extension.  The film is expired GAF (Ansco) Versapan developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 10:30.  The exposure was f/16, for about 2 seconds.  This lens doesn't have a shutter so I had to use my hand over the lens to make the exposure.

And it's not too bad in the end.
I'd really like to take garden photos but with the -43°C we have today (with the windchill) and about 3 feet of snow on the ground, lets just say it ain't happening.

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Finally the weather is improving and so is the light. On Thursday I got out with a working camera and enjoyed myself.  :)

Seacliff Pier, which was severely damaged by California storms since this photo was taken in December. Was an odd thing to develop a photo of a structure that no longer really exists. FM10 on Delta 3200, D-76.
