weekend of the 22/23/&24 Sept
« on: September 23, 2023, 03:04:40 PM »
I've been on a work trip to Dublin over the past few weeks, without a chance to get out and photograph anything properly but did take some shots while driving testing out Zenith LC-A so hopefully some to come from that later.
Meanwhile from the Oxford walk last month with the Mamiya C33 FP4 510 Pyro

Nice start Irv, and I'm looking forward to the Dublin photos.

Mine is just a quickie shot while driving down Central in Albuquerque.
There's lots of interesting signage here.

Minolta RIVA 115 point and shoot with HP5 shwished in caffenol.

The Minolta RIVA is the same model that I think Bryan used in Samoa, but marketed as the Freedom.

I just looked on Camerapedia, it looks like all the Riva's were also marketed as Freedom.  I wonder what the Riva market was, I remember the Freedom Zooms being marketed in the U.S.  I got this camera a while back and had stashed it in a closet.  I wanted a backup camera on this trip to shoot color with in case something happened to my Leica IIIc which I was using for black and white.  It's a nice camera, I'll probably use it more in the future.

One last color shot with the Freedom Zoom from American Samoa on expired Kodak Gold, Lockheed C-130 Hercules at Pago Pago airport.  It will be a while before I have a chance to develop my black and white film.  I went straight from American Samoa to Maui for the fire response.  It was on my way home but it's going to be a long layover.  80+ hour work weeks don't allow for much time to shoot film but I'll try to work it in when I can.  I'm not complaining though, Lahina is devastated, I'm just glad I can help them recover.

Working an 80 hour week, I'd surely need at least a month to recover...

Just some neighborhood shots on Ektachrome Slide Dupe (x/1980) using the Nikon F2 with 55/3.5 Micro mounted. Dev'd in DIY C-41.

Blue/Orange and Purple/Yellow. I love the complimentary colors!
