In the darkroom
« on: March 07, 2022, 09:13:59 PM »
I've now spent four days in the darkroom... and I don't have a single print to show.
Instead of printing, I spent that time cleaning and de-cluttering.
I never imagined that I'd find so much junk and dust in that room... it was definitely filthy.
But now, I'm pretty happy with the results. I only have one shelf left to sift through.
I hope you will enjoy the results as much as I do.

Nice setup!  Does that enlarger do up to 4X5?

It sure does!
It's an old Omega D-II that dates back to before they came out with the D-2. The big difference between them is that the more modern version has a crank to move it up and down. Also mine has fixed condensers so I'm stuck with using only one lens.

I got it for free when I bought a Crown Graphic at a garage sale. It was missing the expensive negative carriers so I had to hack something together. But it works just fine.
