Sneaky Weekend February 3-4-5-6
« on: February 03, 2022, 07:17:26 PM »
I'm sneaking in this early weekend shot done in color!
Made with some well expired Kodak Gold 100 and a cinestill kit.
Seeping Blix, but not as bad since I just used the twizzle stick for the mixing instead of inversions.
This was hard to do after a lifetime habit of inverting the tank. I really want to tip the tank over!
Anyway, a shot made in Albuquerque with a Kodak Cameo camera. Yep, kinda dinky and not great on focus...but it's what i got.

Looks like the twizzle stick worked great Becky.

Theses were shot with the Vest Pocket Autographic Kodak Special that I recently made new bellows for.  Ilford HP5+ developed in Beer.

Nicely done Becky, especially with expired colour film.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Loving all of these! I wish I had some color to add, but the smooth tones of Becky's view of Albuquerque will carry that end of the spectrum. I went downtown to the Star of India and shot a roll of Tri-x on the Bronica S2a + the Nikon 200mm. Dev'd in parodinal 1:25 x 7min. The negs are pretty good. I will try printing some of these when I get a chance.

Before seeing the pictures on my tablet, I thought that the Star of India was a restaurant 😅

Well, it is a restaurant also, but that is less interesting to photograph!  ;D

It's pretty cool to have your name on a restaurant. I hope that they at least have good food.
Here, the funkiest restaurant we had was Les Jardins Tiki...

No, you misunderstand ... that's not a restaurant, that's my actual palace 😂 A sax player friend of mine calls me the Maharaja of New York, so a maharaja deserves a palace, right? 🤣
