Introducing myself
« on: March 20, 2009, 03:03:12 PM »
Hi My name is Mark, my nickname comes from my blog. I have been a photographer for almost 30 years and in that time have worked for lots of photography organisations, and even owned a Pro lab.
I shoot all sorts of subjects and all sorts of cameras, may fave at the moment is my Rolleiflex loaded with either Neopan or Delta 3200 as I like low light work.
Photographic influences include Brassai, Brandt, Karsh and Cartier Bresson.
I think that's it?

Oh yes I'm a filmaholic.

Welcome - I had a look at your blog and we have some things in common - a love of Rolleiflex, Neopan 400 and of course film photography!

ps. neopan is my number one 400 speed film  :)

Hi Mark, and welcome to FW. It's always good to have a fellow filmaholic join in here...especially one from my old stomping ground of East Anglia. I've lived in Ipswich, Colchester and Wisbech (in The Fens)...whereabouts are you based?

Loved yr blog, BTW. You clearly have a passion for all things film.

Thank you for the welcome. I have lived all over East Anglia, born in Sudbury, then moved to north Norfolk, south Norfolk, Norwich and I have a holiday cottage near Southwold Suffolk- so all over really.
I carry a Rollei 35 with me everywhere, but as a I stated my Rollei T is my weapon of choice at the moment, I love the low contrast but high detail of the 1950's Tessar. I especially like it with the Rolleinar close up lens:
