Bluebells 2016
« on: April 06, 2016, 09:09:11 AM »
I'm no botanist but the "season" for Bluebells in the UK is fairly predictable being the end of April / beginning of May when the temperature is just right and the trees haven't quite got their full coat of leaves - allowing plenty of light onto the forest floor to help the Bluebells blossom.

It's been a few years since I got up early enough to travel to my favourite woods on the Ashridge Estate (near Berkhamsted) to see literally acres of Bluebells appear as the sun rises over the horizon.  This is usually around 05:30.

I know this may be a big ask for many but is anyone up for a bit of very early morning camera action 7th or 8th May.  I'll be there anyway - I'm just opening up the invitation to anyone who might want to be there too.

If so, please register your interest below.
