Quite some variety in this one... and what surprised me is just how many color shots there are!
Fun stuff like always :)

The different points of view are wonderful, and I really really like Jonas' photo and interpretation.

So cool!

Carlos: I hope you have got those statistics out of your system now!! Thanks for the research....and I hope you have scratched your 'photo itch' for the day and that you and your wife can talk about something more interesting instead over dinner tonight.

 ;D ;D ;D

p.s.
My instant film is rated at ASA 125...not sure if you included that in your stats breakdown  :D

I was scrapping around for something that was "appropriate" and this gave me a good opportunity to re-visit a neg I'd had trouble scanning how I'd wanted.

Superb shots all round. Particularly love Francois' and Vicky's but there isn't a weak link amongst them. Can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this one also.

I like to participate in these as they get me out taking photo's and force me to do something different to my usual camera fodder.

For me this was my first attempt at making a colour image from three separate exposures and I was lucky as I made some errors. I thought I had seriously over exposed the negatives as I had adjusted the ISO rating to 32 prior to going out and forgot to reset it to 400 (assessing another possible option).  I also think I under estimated the compensation required for the tri-colour filters, which may explain why I got something workable.  I also thought the film had jammed in my camera so had to abandon shooting earlier than planned.

I also decided to try a extended stand development with Rodinal 1:200 for two hours.

Luckily the negatives came out OK.

I am sufficiently happy with the results that I will look for opportunities to try the technique again. Minus the mistakes this time though.

Unfortunately I could get my head round a narrative to explain why I had chosen this subject.  I was thinking of the church of shopping or something like that.

I like Damion's back story to his photo.  It does seem to be the small\independent\sole traders that are\were badly hit by this, the big boys seem to just shrug it off.  It is nice to hear that the were able to restart trading so quickly and the support that the skater community gave them.

"Photo Itch", I like that. I will scratch myself so it does not go away!  ;D  Yes, I might have exposed myself with my "research", anyway Missus does not know about it and it's better is kept this way.. we do not want to frighten her. About ASA 125 definitely is treated as  ::) 100

wow! nice to see so many sharing for this one~ an interesting read and look for every entry I think. some are noted as of particularly few words, letting the photo stand more on its own, while others (damion's a great example) giving fine writing and some depth to the shot.
I made a fev noods in viewing these and had a chuckle at the filmwasters crew shot, I hope to get to meet some of you one day! I'm really glad to be part of this in some way  :-* :-[ :P :D ::)

Love this collaboration big time!

All so good but it's Erin's picture of the missing house and Damion's skate shop that are especially gorgeous to me.

Really enjoyed viewing this collab. I especially like Britt's and Nigel's images, but it's a Holga Thing for me.

Looking forward to the next one. How often do these things happen?

um, not related, but can you guys see my icon image under my name? I don't see it when I'm on the forum, but I have uploaded one and I know the link got loads of hits on Flickr after I uploaded it and first posted on the forum, so maybe it's just a weird feature that you don't see your own image??

I don't use flickr much. I use Imageshack.us for most of this stuff and it works very fine.

Every so often, maybe two or three times a year.  We're kinda loose like that here.
