Film Test Map.

In planning for a shoot in a couple of weeks, I've been looking again at new color film options. Not sure about anyone else, but I found this Film Test Map helpful in assessing different options. Please excuse my poor English translations, there are likely proper terms.

Mmm look at all that lovely film!

One slightly off topic question - I bought some of that Fuji Natura 1600 on ebay. I used it outdoors at a christening, and the results were horrible - everyone looked blue / grey and cold! Is this a tungsten balanced film therefore? Should it only be used in tunsten light (without flash)?

I'm a huge fan of Agfa film...never heard of 'Photo' though, so now I'm excited. Must be some out of date stock on sale somewhere. The search begins.

...and the search has led me to this very interesting book from 1938 showing colour images of everyday life in Germany. Shot, of course, on Agfa film. Now just who was in power in Germany in 1938? Oh yeah, that lot.

Like I said, a very interesting book on several levels.
