Been a bit scarce around here lately - going through a photographic lull, in part due to unrelated circumstances - but I've still managed a few rolls in the last couple months, so I might as well kick off the weekend.

A few double-exposed Robot diptychs. First exposed with my long-departed Leica M2 five years ago (no wonder I didn't bother developing it then), then exposed again in the Robot last weekend

We had a week or so of atypically hot weather, in the 104F/40C range, so there was little incentive to go outdoors for photography. Not so hot, though, to preclude some indoor shots.

Testing out multiple exposures on the Canonet. If you hold down the rewind release button while advancing the film, it supposedly doesn't advance the film. However, I found that it actually does advance the film about 1/3rd of a frame or so. I guess that means that in order to get a perfect frame-on-frame double, you gotta hold the film release button AND the rewind crank so that the film doesn't advance at all. And also before loading roll the film back so that it's tight (otherwise even while holding the rewind crank the film will have some give). That said, here's a triple from the end of the roll that mostly worked out. As if the streets of NYC needed even more madness added ;D

Canonet/Efke KB100/HC110
(btw, after taking the second/last shot of the multi, the rewind button is still pressed, but once you crank the film advance lever it pops back out and advances the film. Again, not perfectly ;D )

These four are of a hotel on São Miguel that was abandoned (in the 1990s) before construction was complete. It has become a tourist attraction—a sort of foil to the breath-taking natural beauty surrounding it. All were shot in a Rollei 35 on Tri-X and developed in Caffenol C-L.

Standing the camera on the table and very gently pressing the shutter for a nice interior shot. The beer was good too.
