All registered Filmwasters are cordially invited to participate in Collaboration Number 24.

Theme: "What were you doing at 11:00ish on 11th November 2011? (11.11.11)"
------------------------------------

This theme is a little less interpretive than our usual collaboration affairs. Simply take a shot on a Film camera at 11 am or 11pm (your time, or 11am/pm GMT) on the 11th November 2011 and then send it in. You may choose to tell a story, record an event, or simply describe your physical location. Please take time to include a sentence or two about your submission, and why you took that particular photograph.

There is no 'time served' rule with these collaborations so don't worry if you only registered with us a week ago. Join in. The work we receive is always diverse and high-quality and the more people that get involved, the better the resulting gallery will be. So load up you cameras and get wasting film (and/or paper, glass, chemicals, tin, liquid light etc.).

Basic requirements:

JPEG Requirements: One JPEG image. 72dpi. Not larger than 600-750 ppi. in length or width. No more than 200kb.

PLEASE include your name in the image file name (e.g. "Dave Snapper - 111111.jpg")

**ALSO INCLUDE**

1. A brief explanation of how you interpreted the theme.
2. The camera, process and/or type of film used.
3. Your website or blog address that you'd like listed.

Hmmmm....it's going to be tough to take a film snap at 11am on a Friday morning. I'm usually catching some zzzzzzzzzz's in a meeting around that time :-)

The hardest thing with this one will be to choose: Polaroid 600, Instax, FP100B...

Make a lunchbox pinhole camera and use that!

11:11:11 on the 11th November 2011 will be spent in Cambodia for Lara and myself. By my estimates, Cambodia will be 7 hours ahead of the UK. I intend to take a shot (wherever we are) as near to that time - in "local" time as it will be dark otherwise. I might try to take one "local" time and one "GMT" if I can remember to do so.

I have no idea how we Americans got our dates all turned around. I work in IT, so with date-named files everyone's January files sort together. I always use some bastardization of British (or, I've heard, military): 2011-12-13 would be December 13, '11.

Unfortunately, 11/11/11 is the most-fun date for a while, I think. Closest thing to having the odometer roll over.

I took a photo but it wasn't at 11 o'clock....can we expand this to include photos taken on that day rather just at that time. Reaction on this thread would suggest that others may have been hampered by the time specification too.

amazingly enough with train schedules/plane schedules and addresses I was doing quite well to remember to do the 11 thing..but I did it!!

Now I am wondering if I am suppose to post it somewhere??

Just got mine off in the nick of time - film developed on Sunday and the print this evening after work. Not sure it was really worth the effort, but its surely the taking part that matters.
