Happy New Year everyone!
My one roll, one subject happened serendipitously on Christmas Day during a walk around Tucson.
A nice bright red Bougainvillea caught my eye and my one roll, one subject bloomed right before my eyes!
You may know this paper thin flower as a santa-rita, but they seem to grow in many places around the world...just not in my yard because it's too cold. I'm a little obsessed with them!
Vintage Diana with some expired Portra 160.
Enjoy!

Part 2 of my one roll, one subject with a Diana and portra.

Beautiful images, Becky. Just beautiful.

Wonderful photos!
Looking at them makes me long for the next summer. Well, maybe only 2 more months of snow and icy rain to go and then it will get a tad warmer again. ;)

Great images, Becky. I wish I were in Tucson right now. It's snowy and cold in NM.

I really like the feeling the images evokeā¦.
one of these days I will have to try a Diana or Holga also (new year's resolution?)

Bougainvillea is also a regular part of the city/landscape here in San Diego, so I often (too often) just walk past without giving it a second look. Thanks for making a subject out of something I take for granted. I enjoyed the series.
