It's a special issue titled Photography Rocks and has photos inside made by Mick Fleetwood, Lenny Kravitz, Andy Summers, Graham Nash, Patti Smith, John Mayer, Lou Reed, Bryan Adams, to name a few.

It provides and interesting counterpoint to my favourite quarterly publication "Rocks Photography", in which popular pieces of basalt and sandstone are photographed in rather risque and vulnerable poses.  Most titilating.

Strange, I had a similar idea when I saw the title
There is an articles called "the metamorphic life of a rock star"... perfect for those who think the "sedimentary" lifestyle of some formations is quite boring

   I found this in the bookstore a few weeks ago also.  I was fascinated as well.
