I managed to get my hands on some expired Ansco All-Weather 620 film which I ran thorugh some of my vintage/toy cams. One roll was half exposed in a Kodak Duaflex II and I burned the rest through as well.
With some help from our chemist, he mixed up some D-76 (from scratch, I love this guy) and some anti-fog.
40 years and 12 minutes later I had some images. The in-camera roll had the pitting and wear I had expected and hoped for.
I'm impatiently waiting to find time to finish the rest of the rolls, but in the meantime I offer up two samples:
