Well, so much for promises and good intentions. . . .

I finally got my print (actually two, I felt bad being so tardy) in the mail a few days ago.  Shaun, they should be in your hands soon!

So there I was yesterday morning, about to start whining because I hadn't received my print yet, when the postman near-enough battered the door down and there was a box with... wait for it... FIVE prints in it! From none other than Mark Burley. Thank you so much Mark - what a fantastic series, and thank you for the gratuitous extra print, too.

Phew, you got them then, thank his highness (and the post office) for that. I'm glad you liked the series - sorry it was so late.

I notice it's 31 August and the day's special significance so a couple of things.

The misery of returning from holiday was washed away with the receipt of a pair of delicious prints from the highly talented Mr Malin. They surely blew my socks off. I mailed Eddie to say very many thanks and I'll put a scan or link up to them here later today.

My round 3 shot was taken on holiday so soz, but it's been a bit late in leaving me. That said if delivery lives up to the post office's promises it should be with (name of recipient deleted) tomorrow 1 September.

ok everyone - today is the last day and there are still 10 prints outstanding (although some of those have been reported as being sent, just not received yet)! 

I will be in touch with the people expecting prints in the next few days to let them know who hasnt sent them a print yet so they can get in touch themselves.

to confirm, those who have outstanding prints will not be able to participate in future rounds until they have met their obligation.

Classic Venice in black and white!  Of course I am envious of your journey, Rebekah ;)
