I'm away on the ferry first thing tomorrow so I'll get this started before I go.

Taken in the mid-day sun in Stornoway on New Years day. Holga 120TLR, Ilford FP4+ and developed in Rodinal (1+25 for 9 minutes)

Apparently 2012 was just short of being the wettest on record, by 1/4".  So here's a couple more from the one dry day in the past two months.

Andrea - what a gorgeous shot of a stunningly beautiful place.

Sandeha - all three are ace but the silvery tones of that last one are just lush.

Way to kick off the weekend, Windy! And nice portraits, Dave.

I always panic a little when the weekend thread starts. I think Keith and I are at opposing ends of the weekend. Maybe Mijonju and I. I'm American; I need a map. :P

Can't we recruit some Kiwis and Polynesians to make the rest of you panic a bit? Tick tock! :)

Great selection of images already.  Especially like Dave's first portrait, Charles's first landscape, Andrej's kallitype and Volker's cable drums.

A rather watery woodland scene from me from a rainy walk after Christmas.  Mamiya C220/HP5+/Finol.

Happy New Year

Really nice work as usual from everyone

really like charles' IR . . . again!

I have been shooting some of the new Rollei Crossbird film.
These were used in the Holga and developed in Tetenal c-41.

Nice film, personally I like cross-processing effects in general,
This film has been specifically designed for cross-processing.

I have another currently in the Lubitel for more exact exposure.

So far Donker Dave's portraits and Alan's color is doing it for me. Its back to work and im going to have less and less time to shoot during the day. Here's a 110 shot from earlier this week!

I can now understand why Ed likes instant film so much. It feels like cheating when you have the result right away :) Nothing exceptional from me, just another shot from my 365 project. Maybe once the obvious shots are done it will get more interesting to watch :)

Loving the way so many photos are of damp, dank places this time of year!

Here's one of a Shetland pony on a friend's farm in Kent, taken on New Year's Day with my newish Leica M5 and an old 50mm Summarit f1.5

Just back from ten days in Seattle--I souped these last night and scanned them this morning.  Both Rollei Retro developed in Rodinal at 1:50.  These were shot in the waterfront park area--tourists and homeless people.  I liked the shadow of the woman on the wall; she was shooting a picture of her kid playing with the pigeons.  Another surreptitious candid shot with the waist-level finder on my Exakta.

Little Alma woke up in the middle of the night and we spent quite a long time looking at each other, singing and even one shot with the Polaroid..  :)

Polaroid 195 and fp100c bleached, shot at 1/4 due to very poor lightning.

Both Ektar in a GR1, but shooting through some tinted glass for the second one resulted in a very pleasing 1970s print tint. Skj.

Bought myself a MGB GT on ebay and tok it for a spin around Europe on my way up to Oslo, had some time to spend waiting for the ferry in Dover so we had us a little walk. G1 + 21/2.8 and Ektachrome. Quite nice to take a leak of the cliffs  :)

Since we're having yet another big storm, I went down in the lab and printed a few things on some old Ilford RC paper. I was tired of slaving trying to get decent contrast from the matte finish I have so I went to some 20 year old Pearl finish. Still works like a dream.

All stuff from the Lubitel 166 I got in the Share the love thread. Sorry for the dust in the scans.
