My boy and I went a walk to see a tree planted in memory of his Great-Great-Uncle Bill.

En route a stick was found and a molehill prodded.

Uncle Bill would have been proud  :)

Two more from Kong Kong, POlaroid 195, Fuji FP100b

For sure they though I was completely nuts when they saw me shooting at them. Climbing on chair, going down, moving the chair, climbing again... the one in white was a cook that was taking a break behing the restaurant, the other one is a shop with a ver old printer, light was really poor and doing my best for both the printer and the man to fit in..

Here's a few of mine from the first roll of Tri-X I've had back from my new "toy" (Nikon F2S + 35mm f1.4 / 105mm f2.5). The scanning was done by the lab - so pretty crap. However, I have no time this weekend - off to FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday and, hopefully, recovering from a Man City win induced hangover on Sunday...!! :o

The first two are Cambridge "Dons" and Students / Socialist Worker protesters in Cambridge. The third is a river that runs through a village in Thetford Forest, Norfolk. All processed via Lightroom 2.

Lovely images (as ever) already posted.

- J Warden - love the first shot. Really nostalgic looking
- Diane - beautiful tones and very moody
- Chops - kids always make the simplest things look like incredible fun. Superb shot.
- Calbisu - 2nd one is the best for me. Very dark and mysterious
- Phil B - as ever, superb tones and sooooo sharp.

I've got a bit of a glut of Ridgeway pics at the moment so a few more...

I shot this, after being inspired by a recent thread about holding close-up attachments in front of your lens. This is shot on a Polaroid 680 with a Holga 250 close-up lens.

Scans from a holga roll I did on the royal wedding when I was getting drunk in a large marquee/tent instead of in the middle of the field as planned.

Still stupidly proud of this. Honestly I only did this in 1 take. Action Holga!

Great work everyone. Harvey I love the skies in your shots, great!

These are some shots from WW Pinhole day, taken on a homemade camera inspired by Miles's wide 35mm.

I had chores to do at home that day so thought I'd just document my day. So in order of appearance - doing the ironing, some ripe Camembert for lunch, coffee brewing and a touch of gardening (actually, thinking about gardening!).

LD--I love the Nikkor 105mm
Peter & Harvey--those are just meticulously crafted images
And Heather--that's proof positive (if proof were required) that a pint will do you no harm!

Here are a few shot with the Exakta and a Schacht 135 on Neopan SS:  the first one was a video crew I happened upon as the director was arguing with the videographer about how to shoot a scene.  I empathised with the patient crew members waiting for the outcome so they could get back to work...

Curiously, looking for a place to shoot the below this morning, we happened upon a similar scene - with the crew though staging a run through of a car chase climax with the police jumping from their car, guns drawn, as the perps looked confused in that Japanese confused perp way.

As we watched the scene, a real two-up patrol car cruised passed, spied the scene, and we shared a good laugh...

On a fine Spring day we stood and marveled at the vast expanse of modern Tokio.

Two from the Toyocaflex TLR that I bought at last year's Photographica, both in Conwall this Feb, the B&W monkeyed with in GIMP.

The other is from a late fifties (as it was my Mum's) Brownie 127 Mk2.  My brother found it in the loft at my parents and it had a film in it that must have been from 1979 when she gave it to me for a primary school trip.  Just got a few pics, seeeing if I can get any more out of it  ;D

Fabulous photos!  Oh my word that red, Phil, that red!!!  And Harvey you beach scenes are fabu-lush!

In the last week I've developed 8 rolls of color.  I've got 4 more and I"m done.  Trying to scan at the same time.  Here's a (665) polaroid positive from today - just being silly.

On a side note: anyone know how to best scan the 665 negative? I don't have a negative holder to use in my scanner and not sure what type film profile I should start with (I use silverfast).

cheers!

From Kong Kong, a 1996 669 film. When I was buying the remaining 669 film from IP I did not realize at time about the great disaster that was coming upon us.... But I still hope that land film will be produced again. Yes!  :-\

Phil, that image is a winner!

I finally managed to scan the first roll from my Nikon F90X that I shot in January. Luckily the images are fine, otherwise the other 10-15 roll I shot with the camera would have been wasted ;)
