Not mine, but the mansion of one of the smaller and more rustic old Hudson River estates, long-since burned and now part of a state park.

Those beautiful photographs make me speechless - the leaves of the trees look awesome !
What about processing and equipement - camera, lenses, film ... ?
Thank you for sharing !
-
Thanks for your kind words - glad you liked them.
Three different cameras were used (I was there twice in the space of a week to shoot): four with my pre-war Zeiss Super Ikonta C, and one each with my Leica IIIc and Summitar 50/2 and Certo Super Dollina II with Zeiss Tessar 50/2.8. Yellow filters were used in all cases. Film and processing was the same in all cases: Ilford FP4+ in Caffenol C-H(RS). Post-processing (which was minimal apart from toning) was done in GIMP.

Great set O2Pilot, that looks like a place I would love to visit. I agree with Macfred's comment about the leaves. Were they turning yellow when you shot it?
-
Oh yes, the leaves were quite yellow. I was pleased that I had decided to bring filters.
If you ever make it out to NY and feel like doing a little hiking, let me know and I'll guide you up there.

Relly like the series! The tonality is perfect for the subject. Although the toning is more greenish it reminds me of lith prints somehow.

Is this the Cornish house? I remember how tough it was to frame up; these shots show a lot of time and careful composition. Nicely done.
-
Thanks, guys. Yes, Terry, it's the Cornish mansion. Framing did take some time, as well as trial and error (and I have the errors to prove it). That said, I do think it's easier to shoot when the foliage is less dense and the angle of the light lower (these were shot mid- to late-afternoon).

I love that Cornish house :)
