Nice! Especially love the cockpit shots
-
Got to love vintage cars. I especially like the colors of the red Merc and the Auto-Union. Did you shoot with three different films for a specific reason?
Oh, and a minor correction: the shot you have marked as a Morgan is actually an MG. The humped cowl is a dead giveaway.

Thank you, O2Pilot ! I planned to use -primary- AGFA Precisa CT slide film (for slides projection with my Leitz P150) and Ektar 100.
The Portra was a mistake 'in the heat of the moment' - but I like it with the Auto Union captures.
For comparison - The Auto Union on Ektar 100 :

Yes, the Morgan is actually an MG ... :-[

Another from the MG on Ektar 100 :

I normally prefer Ektar's rendering, but when it comes to pastels, Portra is fantastic. It's perfect for that Auto-Union.

I like them all, specially those shot with Agfa CT Precisa and Etkar. The Agfa was my favourite film of all until I bought the famous Pakon and then I started to fight with slides scan. What is your method, Andreas?
Uh, thanks for sharing your photos.

... What is your method, Andreas? ...
Thank you for the kind comment, Mac !
I use an Epson V600 for scanning my (unmounted) slides.
I’m in Professional Mode, Color Positive Film, 48-bit Color, 2400dpi, and Target Size is set to Original.
Everything is unchecked except Digital ICE. Epson Scan is set to save as tiff.
No further adjustments so far - I found it useful to adjust the Auto Exposure Level for about one point up to High (Configuration menue).
After scanning I fine tuned the Levels for all color channels and adjusted the Tone Curve in Lightroom.
That's it.
For scanning negative film (esp. Ektar) with an Epson, there is a nice 'how to' by my friend Colton Allen :

English is not my first language, so please don't mind ...
-
Thank you Andreas.
I have a V500 though I find it useful only for negative b&w 120 film. Not valid for slides or 135 film (it does not reach my quality requirements...)
English is not my first language too, so everything is fine :-)
