My local trumpet/brass shop celebrated its 2-year anniversary. The repairman, Josh Landress, was working with big-box stores for years before going solo, and honestly I'm very pleasantly surprised that he's been so successful in such a niche market.

Oops! I did that thing where you can "replace" the photo on Flickr (I decided I needed to dial up the blacks just a bit more). I didn't realize it changed the hotlinking URL as well...

Yesterday at a local festival, Aki Matsuri, I had a fun time talking to a guy who was shooting with a Minolta X370. Naturally, we spent a good time talking about film stuff.
