Welcome to the eighth Filmwasters video podcast. The wonderful people at the ILFORD Photo factory have kindly loaned us their HARMAN TiTAN pinhole camera to review. As soon as Leon saw the box, he knew he was in for some fun times! Also, Filmwasters-regular Francois Laverdure shows how to build a budget darkroom and Leon shows some of the trials of being a mushroom photographer.

Our seventh video podcast features an extended report from a little insider event in London called, Photographica 2011. Loads of us went along and we had a fantastic time. Before that though the podcast covers Ed’s visit to the London Street Photography exhibition at the Museum of London, a nail-biting finish for the Filmwasters Pub Quiz team & a seaside ‘photo walk’ with Woody the Dog & Leon the Human. The fourth video podcast from the Filmwasters features a slump-busting trip to Northern France as our intrepid contributor overcomes her fear of photographing strangers in the street. There’s a tutorial on how to load two rolls of 120 film onto a single developer reel and we finish off with a look back at our trip earlier this year to London’s annual Photographica camera fair.

The inaugural video podcast from the Filmwasters.com team is a bit of a shambolic, light-hearted affair, but the 18 minutes goes by pretty quickly all the same.

We take you round the Mass Photo Gathering protest in London’s Trafalgar Square (23rd Jan), then onto the excellent exhibition of 19th Century Photography at the British Library and finish things off with a tutorial about staining Polaroid peel-apart film with instant coffee.
